The Poppy Seed Stollen should be stored in a dark, dry room that is no warmer than 10 degrees Celsius. Under these conditions, a freshly baked Poppy Seed Stollen will taste good for up to 14 days. How to keep your Poppy Seed Stollen fresh and moist for longer: Don’t cut the Stollen at one end, but in the middle! Then cut your Stollen slices from the inside to the outside of both halves. This means that the cut sides always remain the same size and can be reassembled for storage.
